Yeesh! You'd think Mike Griffin had killed someone!

I'm at a meeting out here in Pasadena and some of my colleagues were talking about an interview that NASA Administrator Mike Griffin had done on NPR (link here). They were talking about it kind of in the terms that you might hear a neighbor talk about another neighbor ("Did you hear that Raymond is beating his wife!"). I knew that he said something about global warming, but when I finally saw what it was, I couldn't believe that my colleagues were getting so spun up about it. Frankly, I agree with Griffin. Accept that he lends more credence to the idea that it is human-induced than I would. Anyone with any knowledge of the recent geologic past should know that climate has varied considerably and it is ridiculous to think that it will always be the same as it has been in the last few generations.
