Obama: ready to bankrupt the coal industry

How do these stories sit in the vault for months and only get out the weekend before election day? I just heard about this one where Obama told the San Francisco Chronicle that:

"If somebody wants to build a coal power plant they can, it's just that it will bankrupt them because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted"

Apparently the SF Chronicle reporter had this on tape, but it was never reported in the newspaper. Yet another example of how the media is covering for this guy, and yet another example of why this country would be insane to elect him to the presidency.
