Where was this John McCain during the campaign?

Interesting article here about John McCain going after Obama for supporting the omnibus spending bill that has approximately 9000 earmarks in it. Well... good for John McCain. I just which that he had been this vociferous in opposition to Obama when it counted during the campaign. Oh well...
