More on the hacked global warming e-mails

The Washington Times has an editorial on the hacked e-mails from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. The more I think about this the more apalled I am by how much these guys, who apparently fudged data and were prepared to delete data rather than release it, abused the scientific process. Science is founded on a free and open exchange of ideas. These guys were pursuing an agenda, they were not pursuing science.
