bravo Newt Gingrich!!!

I just heard Newt Gingrich interviewed on the Laura Ingraham show. He was talking about his new book, "Contract with the Earth". However, one throwaway line near the end of the interview caught my attention where he talked about offering a xxx billion dollar (I didn't catch the amount) prize for "getting to Mars". I assume he meant sending people to Mars. I know that this is something that he has talked about before, but I am psyched that he mentioned it on a national radio show. Laura Ingraham, of course, ignored what Newt said about Mars. She's not a space enthusiast. I've heard her say disparaging things about the space program in the past.
