the failure of multi-culturalism according to Christopher Hitchens

There is an interesting interview/profile here of Christopher Hitchens. I especially like his explanation of how including Islamists in a multi-cultural mosaic is impossible:

“The Islamists will try to spoil everything for everyone,” he says. “The crucial thing is not to admit that they are also part of the gorgeous mosaic of multiculturalism – you can’t be part of it if you want to kill all the Hindus or the Jews.”
