I've lost any respect that I had for Charlie Gibson

I didn't see the ABC news Charlie Gibson interview of Sarah Palin, but I've heard a number of sound clips from the interview. I always thought that Charlie Gibson was a relatively straight-shooter in the world of TV news. I had no illusions that he probably votes Democrat every time, but I didn't think that he really wore it on his sleeve. In what I've heard of his interview with Sarah Palin though, I have to now say that the guy strikes me as the worst kind of partisan "gotcha" journalist. The questions that he was asking, and the accusatory tone of many of the questions, were just horrible. Some of them were just inane. So what if she didn't have a passport before last year? He asks her if she has hubris for agreeing to run as VP? When was the last time somebody asked Barack Obama about his monumental hubris??? It just disgusts me. I hope that the American people are perspicacious enough to see Gibson's interview for what it was- an elitist trying his best to embarrass a good, honest public servant.
