We almost got smacked by an asteroid

Story here about the unexpected passage of a 69 by 150 ft asteroid on Monday. It passed by at about twice the distance of our geosynchronous communication satellites. If it had hit the Earth it would have impacted with the force of the object that came down in Tunguska in 1908. That impact leveled more than 800 square miles of Siberian forest.
