Finally some good news on the mineral production front. A story here about how Molycorp has reopened the Mountain Pass mine right on the California/Nevada border. This is good news since China has a virtual monopoly on rare earth elements and has been flouting that near monopoly. That is bad news for the world, but finally some good news from the Mountain Pass mine.
