Christopher Hitchens on the Texas decision to allow teaching of evolution

Good column here by Christopher Hitchens outlining why it was good that Texas Board of Education gave at least a partial nod to continuing more reasonable teaching of evolution rather than casting it as some kind of flaky "theory" whose "strengths and weaknesses" have to be debated. Evolution is as near to a fact in science as anything can be and if it can't be taught as such then they might as well start, as Hitchens says, start teaching astrology right along with astronomy.
