Freeman Dyson: an honest scientist

The NY Times had a profile of physicist Freeman Dyson. He's politically liberal but he has publically stated that “all the fuss about global warming is grossly exaggerated.” He has even called out the believers in human induced global warming as subscribing to their own variety of faith. Quoting from the article, Dyson has stated:

"that climate change has become an “obsession” — the primary article of faith for “a worldwide secular religion” known as environmentalism"

He has stated that the advocates of human induced global warming have relied too heavily on computer models of climate change.

Another great quote from Dyson from the article: “Al Gore’s just an opportunist. The person who is really responsible for this overestimate of global warming is Jim Hansen {of NASA Goddard}. He consistently exaggerates all the dangers.”

Way to go Dr. Dyson... at least there is one prominent scientist at Princeton with the guts to speak the truth.
