The theology of Avatar

I haven't seen Avatar yet. I might wait for it to come out on DVD because it looks like it disses the U.S. military. I don't know if they're actually the "U.S. military" in the movie, but they look just like them in the previews. Anyway, apparently the movie puts forward a pantheistic world view (where "pantheism" is defined as "a doctrine that equates God with the forces and laws of the universe").
