Obama vs. Limbaugh

This story just blows my mind. Obama telling Republican lawmakers that they need to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with the new administration. Well, Obama did win the election... and Democrats have majorities in the House and in the Senate. I think Republicans in the House and Senate have a higher obligation though than to Obama or to Limbaugh. They have a responsibility to the people that elected them. They have a responsibility to the people who believe in the vision of the Founding Fathers and not the new socialist vision of Obama. They have to oppose the move to socialism that Obama and the Democrats in the House and Senate are trying to foist on the American people in the name of a "stimulus package". They have to oppose it with every fiber of their being. They have to vote en masse against that "stimulus package" so when it fails... and it will fail, the American people will see CLEARLY who voted for it and who voted against it and they can then hold Obama and the Democrats accountable and maybe, MAYBE we can start to crawl our way out of this morass that we find ourselves in.
