Thomas Friedman on "rebooting America"

Thomas Friedman, who I sometimes think is smart and sometimes think is a moron, is running true to form by having a column that I halfway agree with. He starts off by talking how much better trains and cell phones are in Hong Kong than in the U.S. and this would be the part that I kind of agree with. An airport like LAX seems like it is straight out of the 1960s. He also talks about how our best and brightest have been going to Wall Street instead of science, math, and engineering and I think that has been a tragedy. Of course he has to hit some of the liberal talking points about "tax cuts we can't afford" and that's moronic. Also, I can't help but think that the whole column is kind of an infomercial for Obama's infrastructure rebuilding spending extravaganza. If you kind of selectively read the column though, he does have some good points.
